Advancing STEM and Robotics Education

Submitted by caputon on

UNGSC representatives in Valencia recently visited the three winning schools of the UN Day 2024 Robotics Competition: IES Borriol, Fundación Flors and IES Xebic. Upon winning, each school was given the possibility to choose a prize tailored to their specific needs; these included 3D printers, printing filaments, and Lego Robotics Kits for primary students, aimed at enhancing student engagement.

The visit provided an opportunity to present the winners with their selected prizes, celebrate their achievements, and learn about their ongoing initiatives to promote STEM and robotics education.

At IES Xebic, Ondara, the team was received by local officials, including Mayor José Ramiro Pastor, Secretary of Education and Institutional Relations Rosa Anamaria Jordi, and Secretary of Youth Jordi Ruiz-Orejon. The officials expressed their continued support for the competition and its positive impact on local youth.

UNGSC congratulates these schools on their success and looks forward to continued collaboration.
