Empowering the Next Generation of Female Innovators

Submitted by Nadia Caputo on

In honor of the International Day of Women and Girls in Science (February 11), women staff from co-located organizations at the United Nations Information and Communications Technology Facility (UNICTF) in Valencia had the privilege of visiting local high schools to share their journeys and the transformative role of science and technology at the UN.

Through these inspiring conversations, we engaged over 380 bright students, sparking their curiosity and passion for careers in STEM.

UNGSC thanks all the participants from UNGSCUNICC, IOM, and UNICEF for their enthusiasm and commitment to empowering women and girls in science, technology, and innovation.

Together, we are paving the way for the next generation of changemakers!
