The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) welcomed Ms. Cecilia Piccioni, Deputy Secretary General and Director General for Political Affairs and International Security of Italy's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Through a series of briefings and site visits, the delegation explored how UNGSC delivers supply chain, digital technology and other specialized capabilities that enable United Nations operations worldwide.
The visit underscored the importance of the longstanding partnership between Italy and the United Nations and highlighted UNGSC's role as a strategic operational hub that supports peace, security and humanitarian efforts around the world.
