UNGSC welcomed a 27-member delegation from the People’s Republic of China to its premises in Brindisi.

The delegation included representatives from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), the Ministries of Commerce and Foreign Affairs, the Chinese Embassy in Italy, and other representatives operating in technical sectors, including engineering and telecommunications.

The visit provided an opportunity to learn about UNGSC’s organizational structure, governance framework and services, with a focus on supply chain management, asset lifecycle management, logistics support and digital technology.

Through presentations and a tour of the Centre’s facilities, delegates gained insights into how UNGSC delivers enabling services to United Nations entities worldwide.
