Advancing UN-EU Operational Collaboration

Submitted by Nadia Caputo on

A fruitful visit from a delegation of the European Union Military Staff (EUMS) to the United Nations Global Service Centre marks another step forward in developing our partnership under the Framework Agreement between the United Nations and the European Union for the Provision of Mutual Support.

Discussions focused on strengthening operational collaboration in support of field missions, guided by the strong commitment of our leadership to advance tangible results for our shared goals. The visit built on several engagements with the EUMS, as well as other EU entities within the European Union External Action Service (EEAS).

Our appreciation goes to Brigadier General Katrien D’Hert, Col. Michael Nuyens; Col. Gert Dobben, and Maj. Christian Schorn for their enthusiasm and acknowledgment of the passion, dedication, and expertise of our teams. Together, we’re building a future of even greater impact!
