Today marks the conclusion of two weeks of Unite Field Remote Infrastructure Monitoring (#FRIM) training at UNGSC’s Brindisi Base, consisting of an introductory Technical Capacity Building course for UN Agencies, Funds, and Programmes, followed by an Advanced Capacity Building Workshop for field missions worldwide.

Through hands-on technical sessions, participants enhanced their ability to tap the power of remote control and automation to streamline operations, and to use IoT data pipelines and analytics for real-time insights, efficiency, and informed decision-making.

As noted by Mr. Muhammad Afzal, Head of IT Systems at the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI): " In addition to imparting knowledge, the workshop emphasized the importance of active participation, experiential learning, and achieving desired outcomes. It provided us with the chance to analyze our own solutions, gain insights from one another's experiences, to ensure the effective implementation of FRIM back in our missions."
UNGSC thanks all participants for their enthusiasm and dedication to innovation!
